For this weeks adventures there was the weekly beach trip on Wednesday. Friday the village where I live took a trip to the only ice rink in WA! They were quite impressed when I told them that we have several in one city. It was the biggest ice rink I've ever seen but works just fine for some fun. I felt like a pro because I didn't have to cling to the wall to start. All the Asians who had never actually seen ice before were pretty funny to watch I must admit.
Sunday I did my first SCUBA dive! It was in the Swan River, which there's parts you're not supposed to swim in because of contamination. So I asked if there was anything to see, I was told maybe some shopping trolleys and dead bodies, luckily neither were seen. There were a couple jellyfish and some brown fish. Next week we're off to what's supposed to be the best dive area in Perth so that should be a little more interesting. Hopefully there will be some good pictures for those trips!
