SCUBA

A week ago I finished my SCUBA certification. We had only done dives in murky water, where you couldn't see very far. For our last dives we took a boat out to Rottnest Island, a great snorkel/ SCUBA place. It seems so much deeper when you look up and can see how deep you are. The first dive there were the cool fish, mantarays and cool rocks, basically like a National Geographic movie.

Then we had a small break for a great lunch, it was a feast! Then I snorkeled around the lunch spot. After we relaxed for a bit we did our second dive, it was amazing. There were caves to go in and out of, the fish would just spiral out the tops of the caves. My instuctor found some type of shark and we all took turns looking at it. It couldn't be too dangerous because he was petting it.

I guess I'll have to get over to the Gold Coast to check out that SCUBA, which should be great. I'm in Sydney right now on holiday so I will have to write about that when I get better internet
